May 3, 2024Dare to Innovate, Haikatapu Village is Trained on How to Make Environmentally Friendly Toilets
UPKM/CD Bethesda YAKKUM East Sumba Region trained a group of craftsmen in Haikatapu Village, Rindi District to make Eco-Friendly Toilets located at the Village Head’s house. The training was conducted for 3 days from Thursday to Saturday, 01 to 03 June 2023.
This training was carried out by starting to introduce the materials and equipment for making toilets, as well as the process of printing the main and goose neck toilets. Then proceed with the process of joining the gooseneck and the main toilet, the process of collecting the toilet, the process of painting the toilet and discussing the toilet business plan.
This activity was attended by village administrations, Village-owned Enterprise managers and a group of builders who were very enthusiastic about participating in toilet making training. During the discussion, there was a commitment from the village government to support funds through Village-owned Enterprise for the group to follow up on the development of the toilet business unit.
