One of the supports of UPKM/CD Bethesda YAKKUM is to improve the quality of health services in the community, namely, through efforts to increase the knowledge and skills of health workers in Primary Health Facilities regarding maternal and child health. The knowledge and skills of health workers are increased through workshops on health workers, especially midwives, in the management of maternal and neonatal emergencies. Through this workshop, it is hoped that midwives will be able to detect complications and recognize emergencies experienced by mothers and babies, so that they can provide prompt and appropriate treatment to prevent death or complications for mothers and babies according to standards in Alor, East Sumba and Malacca. East Nusa Tenggara Province.
This workshop was held on 10 -11 November 2022, at Hotel Neo in Kupang, which was opened by Ms. Ruth D. Laiskodat. S.Si.,Apt.,MM (Head of the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Health Office). The resource persons in this workshop were Mrs. SY Trihana Wijayanti SsiT., Bdn., M.Kes and Linda Domita STR., Keb. Bdn.
