STRATEGIC ISSUES

Strategic Issues for the Period of 2016-2021

  1. Improve human resource competencies through Knowledge Management learning, Performance Appraisal and Leadership Training on a regular basis to implement leadership regeneration at all levels.
  2. Improve accountability and quality of Primary Health Care programs using an IT-based organizational management system (finance, human resources, Secretariat, PME, business, logistics) based on Core Humanitarian Standard values.
  3. Increase revenue through business units, independent ventures and asset utilization that contribute to the sustainability of the organization.
  4. Strengthening the "Hospital Without Walls" branding in primary health care programs that highlight inclusiveness, holistic, innovative, and learner through the mastery and use of applied technology and IT that supports institutional accountability and sustainability. This strategic issue also relates to the community-based approach that involves communities including vulnerable groups (women, pregnant women, PLHIV, the elderly, people with disabilities and certain health conditions) in decision-making, generating community initiatives and social support in the health sector.
  5. Improve the quality and quantity of partnerships both within YAKKUM and externally including strategic cooperation with churches.
